Presentation to Oak Bay Council - January 15, 2024

We acknowledge with respect that we live, work and play as uninvited guests on the unceded territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən People and that our prosperity has been built on injustice, discrimination, theft and oppression. We have a responsibility to understand the truth of both our history and our present, to listen and learn with humility, to care for the land, and to take concrete action to build a respectful and more just future together with the Songhees and Esquimalt peoples.
